Hello OLMC families,

I hope everyone has had a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather we have been blessed with this weekend.  Is it really January?  Here are the noteworthy items for the upcoming week:

  • This week 5th graders will begin their drug abuse education program with Officer Eric Wolf from Berlin Borough Police Department.
  • LEGO club resumes Tuesday, 1/14, after school.
  • Our annual “State of the School” report will be sent out on Wednesday, 1/15.
  • On Thursday, 1/16, students will be attending a presentation by the American Heart Association in advance of our Jump Rope / Hoops for Heart events during Catholic Schools’ Week.
  • Friday, 1/17, is our re-scheduled Spirit Day.
  • Plans for Catholic Schools’ Week 2020 are almost finalized; the schedule of events will be released before week’s end.

Please remember that the end of the second marking period is January 24.  Remind your students to submit all work in a timely fashion to maximize the credit they receive for their work.  I would also like to commend our students on their behavior and participation at Fr. Jim’s funeral.  Their presence was noticed and appreciated by many of the people in attendance.

Enjoy the rest of the day!

Alice Malloy
