After our beautiful weekend, I hope everyone is home, safe and sound, preparing for the week ahead. This week is probably best described as the proverbial “calm before the storm” due to all of the activities planned for next week (school pictures, Halloween parties, etc.). Take advantage of a week without disruptions and encourage your students to plan ahead and submit assignments early so that they may be better prepared for the craziness of next week!
As we all begin to look ahead to various fall holidays, please be mindful of our collective responsibility to exercise caution when planning activities and gatherings. The faculty and staff are doing everything possible to keep all members of the Mt. Carmel family healthy. We remind students on a daily basis that loving one’s neighbor may involve changes to long-standing traditions, but these changes are done for the greater good, and hopefully are only temporary. If we all work together in this, we should have a successful school year!
Have a wonderful evening, and be well!
