Good evening OLMC families!

As we celebrate the Labor Day weekend, I hope everyone finds the time to enjoy the beautiful weather we are experiencing.  Let’s hope this pattern continues for the first week of school.

There are several things which need to be communicated before our opening day on Tuesday.  Please check your e-mail for our  Before-care/After-care guidelines and an agreement which the diocese is asking all families (in-school and remote learners) to complete and return.  Families should also have received the arrival/dismissal bullet list.

For our first day, students may wear the summer uniform, winter uniform or gym clothes. Masks will be worn as well.  Please remember that parents will not be able to enter the school building.  If you are hoping to get a “first day of school” picture on the school grounds, kindly park near the church and walk to your chosen spot for pictures, keeping social distancing in mind.  We begin school with full day sessions, so please pack lunch for your students.  Remote learners are expected to log in at 7:40 AM each morning to participate in their classes.

I realize that there are many new procedures and guidelines to follow this year.  There will be bumps in the road along the way.  With prayer and patience, we will get through this and have a successful school year!

Enjoy a restful Labor Day!
