Hello OLMC family,

I hope all members of our school community are doing well…in mind, body and spirit!  It is not easy some days to find things about which to be grateful.  COVID fatigue is real, and the upcoming holiday season (complete with changes to many traditional plans) is weighing heavy on many of our minds.  Although family gatherings may look different this year, the important thing to realize is that God-willing, this is all temporary.  Please continue to heed the guidance communicated by the scientific community, so that all of our families’ health is protected.  Now, more than ever, monitor activities outside of school to prevent possible transmission of infection to unsuspecting students, faculty and staff.

If your Thanksgiving plans next week have you traveling to a state on New Jersey’s travel advisory list, please be responsible and quarantine for 14 days from the date of your return.  Similarly, if you are hosting guests from one of those same states, you should quarantine as well.  The updated list may be found at:  https://covid19.nj.gov/index.html

Please note the following change to our after-care program.  Due to staffing issues, after-care will only be available until 5 PM each day.  It is still necessary to give at least 24 hours’ notice of your intention to have students attend after-care.  Many thanks for your cooperation with this.

Be well!

Alice Malloy
