Good evening OLMC families,
August 18, 2019
It’s hard to believe, but school begins in about two weeks! Where did the summer go? Now that school is on the horizon, there will be increased communication from school, so please check e-mail on a regular basis. Here are the items of importance for this week:
* Thanks to a nomination by the Mantuano family, OLMC is in the running to be chosen as a featured school in the Courier-Post’s “First Day of School” story. I am waiting for specific details from the Courier, but as I understand it, readers will have the opportunity to vote for the featured school sometime this coming week. Rest assured the necessary information will be sent out as soon as we get it!
* Wednesday evening is orientation for parents of pre-schoolers and students in grades 1-5. The event will begin at 6 PM, and we will have two sessions so that parents may visit multiple classrooms if needed.
* Thank you to all the parents who responded to the before-care survey. That survey will be open through tomorrow evening for anyone who may have forgotten. The link is: Survey
* Supply lists and summer work is listed on the school’s website. Please encourage your child to complete the work sooner rather than later.Enjoy the remaining days of vacation!
