Good afternoon OLMC families,
I hope this e-mail finds everyone enjoying and appreciating a quiet Sunday afternoon, in the presence of family and friends. Here are the items of note for the week:
- Winter uniforms begin tomorrow, 11/4. Please check the school handbook for exact requirements.
- Boys’ basketball Open Gym is scheduled for Tuesday, 11/5, from 5:30-7 PM for any boy in grades 3-8.
- Tuesday evening also brings our first adult paint night of the year. Contact the school office to reserve a spot.
- The first marking period ends on Wednesday, 11/6. Please remind your students to submit all work on time in order for credit to be given.
- Friday, 11/8, is “Bring a Friend to School” day. See our website for details.
- Friday, 11/8, is an early dismissal day; it is also a “Spirit Day.”
- On Saturday, 11/9, St. Simon Stock Parish celebrates its 10th Anniversary. A special dinner has been planned following the 4 PM Mass; contact the parish office (767-2563) by noon Monday to reserve a spot.
- Next Tuesday, 11/12, is our annual Barnes & Noble book fair. Please see the flyer which was e-mailed for information about a cheesecake and coffee/tea sale that runs in conjunction with the book fair. Orders for those items must be submitted to school by Tuesday, 11/5.
