I hope everyone has enjoyed a great weekend after a successful first week of school! Thank you to everyone whose work and patience made last week run so smoothly. Here are the noteworthy items for the week:

* Before-care is available beginning tomorrow, 9/9. See the attached letter for details.

* We will celebrate our opening school Mass tomorrow morning at 9 AM. Please join us if you are able.* Thursday, 9/12, is Back-to-School Night. The meeting will begin at 7 PM in the gym, with classroom visitation following.

* On Friday, 9/13, we will celebrate our first “Spirit Day” of the year. Students who have purchased this year’s green spirit shirt may wear jeans along with the spirit shirt. Students with previous years’ spirit shirts may wear them with the school uniform.

* Music lessons for returning band members will begin this week in preparation for Friday’s “Come Join the Band” assembly. Information was sent home with current band members on Friday; please return registration slips tomorrow so that scheduling may begin.

* Junior high students are invited to attend the Back-to-School dance on Friday, 9/13. Information for this was also sent home this past Friday.
